Over the weekend, my girlfriend and I lounged around the house and indulged in (among other things) ice cream and Comedy Central.
The best discovery of my weekend, besides my girlfriend's impressive progress in "Yoga", was the wonderful effect a little Zrii can have on your ice cream.
We tried several concoctions:
- Trader Joe's Coconut Frozen Yogurt with Musselman's Unsweetened Chunky Natural Applesauce, topped with 2 ounces of Zrii. It was cup licking good! Swirling the Zrii with the applesauce into a paisley pattern is an added treat.
- Ben & Jerry's Fat Free Cherry Garcia Ice Cream in a rich bed of fresh organic blackberries, micro-diced and soaked in 3 ounces of Zrii.
- Häagen-Dazs Raspberry Sorbet. Simply scoop a serving onto a saucer. Use the handle of a teaspoon to carve out a hole at the top of the scoop (about a 1/2 inch deep. Slowly pour one ounce of Zrii directly into the hole. It will overflow nicely creating luscious streams of burgundy Amalaki goodness across the sides. garnish with some mint leaves and fresh banana slices. We did!
